After many years on my recovery journey and at best managing the ED, I discovered the Marino Therapy Centre. If only I had found them earlier! Marie talked of full recovery, a new concept to me, and one which I very much wanted but almost didn't dare to believe was possible. After a year, not only was I fully recovered and fully free, but I also enrolled on their Eating Disorder Practitioner Diploma programme. I am now over 10 years working in this area myself as a practitioner using Marie's psycholinguistic motivational model to lead others to full recovery too. I highly recommend this centre and Marie and Jacqueline's knowledge, skills and experience to anyone wanting to find full freedom from the grips of this destructive condition.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I would like to let anyone thinking of joining Marino know it will be the best choice you ever make as this place gives you the power to turn your whole life around! Marie, Jacqueline and Andrea are a formidable team with years of experience in the area of eating distress and it shows. They greet you with understanding and gentleness while teaching you the skills to be firm with condition so as you can navigate your way through life’s ups and downs without turning to self destruction. By following their guidance and putting the work in I have found myself on a journey of self discovery of the real me and living a life I never thought was possible. Marino is a life changing place and I am forever grateful for how they are opening my life up to new experiences and new opportunities. I have learned there is always a solution to every problem, for all things eating distress, the solution is Marino!
In my experience going here, I have found a sense of belonging! I really think it helps me in so many ways and most of all, there is very little pressure on you! We are all there to help our recovery and you can see the support it gives to people! You can feel the energy from everyone there and it’s been an amazing support to me! Maria has been a breath of fresh air as she can lighten up any situation to get the positive out of it and give a great understanding of it too! I would definitely recommend this centre! ️
Marie, Jacqueline and Andrea have changed both my life and my families life for the better. I have tried other places and no one understood or helped me, my parents and sister as well as Marino Therapy Centre. I wish everyone could attend and learn to live and appreciate life. I could never thank them enough
I couldn't say enough about Marie and the team in Marino. So much so, I don't really know where to start. Suffice to say, their wonderful approach to recovery in a holistic and caring way inspire those who attend to leave there with a lightness, and the belief in our own full recovery and freedom, something I never got from medical professionals who only resorted to drugs to \fix\ me. Something which has only served to mask the condition which I have now come to realise. A positive experience, with some thought provoking work along the way. I am on my own road to recovery and without a doubt would be lost without their combined knowledge and experience. I have just arrived home after a workshop there today, and have plenty of food for thought. A very well spent Sunday! So here's to my next session, bring it on!! Recovery is on the horizon xx
I couldn’t rate MTC highly enough. The professionalism and highest level of care, compassion and kindness they show every individual is unbelievable. Their knowledge, wisdom and experience is second to none. They can help you understand things and see them, and deal with them, in a different, more helpful way. Nothing fazes them. They know what they’re talking about. And they walk the talk.
This Centre gives its attendees the gift of freedom from an eating distress by teaching and coaching people how to live a free life through groups, one to one sessions, work shops, holiday enhancement therapy and their amazing website ( with a daily recovery post). Would highly recommend to anyone suffering from an eating distress. Take that first step in contacting them it will be the best thing you can do for yourself.
