I just called J&J motors, and whoever I spoke with was very condescending towards me. I feel like it is extremely easy for guys to get frustrated with women when it comes to car issues, but I genuinely never grew up with a father or grandpa who could have taught me about vehicles. I really am behind when it comes to learning about them, but I am trying to just learn and gather information for my own knowledge. Whoever I spoke with all you needed to do was just explain a few things, I never had an issue with the cost, just truly wanting to gain full understanding of what all I was paying for and what the engine reader could find out.

when i took my VW to J&J, it was having a shifter issue where it would not go into gear. i had had taken it to a few other shops previously and either been dismissed or been told i needed a new transmission. i threw a hail mary and took it to J&J . jack and his tech were awesome they listened to what the symptoms were and asked questions to better understand when and what was happening. i left the car there fearing the worst. a few hrs later i received a call and they had found the issue a broken shift weight and thus the car was not able to go into gear bc of it. i asked what the best course of action was and was told it was not needed and would not effect the performance of the car to go without. Thank you to Jack and the whole team at J&J for saving me thousands of dollars in unnecessary replacement of my transmission and your professionalism. forever a J&J customer!
