Lovely, small but packed museums. Highly recommended to drop by, even if you only have a bit of time. There are many many maquettes of ships and a large layout of Chania in the past. The exhibitions are varied and it's fun to peak into the model workshop - if open. Also have a walk around the walls of the old fortress in which the museum resides for some decent views and photo opportunities of the old town

A good museum with amazing ship models. The modelers here are masters at their craft. There is a wide variety of maritime topics covered making our visit interesting and enjoyable.
A great museum with several historical aspects, really worth to visit!
Very interesting museum alot of information to see and learn. Highly recommended you come and see
Great museum showcasing mainly Greek naval history with some additional elements of American naval forces. Primarily shows world war 2 era history, however there is some from the modern and more historical eras. The ship models are very well done.
Great museum if you’re interested in maritime/naval technology and history. Some signs could need a polish though as they look quite used by now. I really enjoyed visiting it though.
Nice little museum about old things in Crete. Nice souvenirs. There's many interesting artifacts, and nice informations to learn. I enjoyed it. It's also very cheap.
Quaint museum on the harbor that details the Naval history of Greece. The ship models are incredibly detailed and the upstairs WW2 exhibit is phenomenal. For 3 euro it was a good price and a nice break in our day. Four out of five stars because some articles had minimal labels/descriptors.
