Joyce and the team at Pencil Studio provided a wonderful and memorable online learning experience for our daughter this past summer. We signed up for the entire summer camp program and particularly appreciated the following: - fun and educational themes throughout the summer. - our daughter enjoyed the bonus weekly \Fantasy Friday\ interactive story time immensely. - variety of activities: painting, clay sculpting, crafts, drawing - materials provided in advance (i.e. paper, clay, craft accessories) - well-organized; class always started on time. - we did not experience any technical issues with the online format. - further developed our daughter's creativity, artistic skills, and love for art - teachers were able to adjust the pace of the class to accommodate the different skill levels of the students in the class. Overall, a great art program and experience for our daughter that is available virtually. We hope to be back next summer (or sooner!).

Both my boys have been going to Pencil for art classes and Summer Camp for the past two years. Joyce and Michael have put in a lot of thought and care into creating programs that helps spark creativity in kids while making it fun for them to return! The boys especially enjoy the Sunday clay classes.

Pencil virtual classes have been one of the bright moments during COVID-19 for my two daughters. Joyce and other art teachers in this studio really created a creative, fun and supportive environment online with appealing and a variety of painting material every week. From art supplies to preview of class themes to interactive communication during classes, my girls enjoyed the classes immensely. Both of their drawing skills improved during this time as well as their love to paint and create. I highly recommend this studio and the online classes.

My son has been attending their traditional classes for years and then switched to their virtual classes since the beginning of the pandemic. The online class continues to be well organized and fun with great teachers. It is a challenging time for small businesses but Joyce and her team stay creative and enthusiastic. We will continue to support local small businesses.

My children loves to attend Pencil's camps, the teachers are very patient and caring towards young kids. They do a lot of art activities together through out the day and make a lot of new friends there. Great place for kids to learn and have fun.
