HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE! Please do not use Marlborough Auction Rooms recommended courier Don Prater/Westbrook Packing. On their advise I used him to collect and deliver 4 lots valued at over 600. Only one lot reached me in the condition I’d won it in and despite telling me on purchasing his services that my items would be adequately packed and were fully insured I am one month on left severely out of pocket and have wasted an unacceptable amount of my time in trying to get him to put things right. The service received from the auction house itself was very good but given their delivery options and recommendations I will not buy here again.
Lot of interesting items. Accurate description in catalogue. Professional delivery.
Have been unhappy with aspects of this auction house, but having had contact with the new owners believe things will substantially improve, as they appear to have a more professional approach to business.
