First rate from beginning to end. I had a portable generator with a no-start condition. They picked it up a day after I called, and returned it a week later, cleaned up and running perfectly. Highly recommended.

I've always great work when I send things here for repair, not to mention the pick up and drop off service they offer. Repairs done right the 1st time around. 0f outside and my snow blower starts on the 1st pull. Sending mine to them again for a preseason tuneup. Great service Great people Very pleased.

Now that was a good experience. Initially dealt with the owner who was extremely pleasant and helpful. The person that repaired my lawn mower was very knowledgeable and explained in detail the repairs that were made. Free pick up and delivery made it very convenient - Thanks again!

Called Metro West for a snow-blower and lawn mower tune-up. Kudos to them for offering pick-up and drop-off service. However, never received confirmation of pick-up and never got an estimate for how long it would take to get to my equipment back (eventually found out it would take almost three weeks!). Had great difficulty reaching a human being on the phone to answer questions and there's no answering machine to leave a message. Only received a call when all the work had been completed - nobody ever called me to ask for approval about anything beyond the authorized tune-ups, they just did the work and charged me for it. I had some specific questions and issues I wanted looked at, but never got the chance to ask those questions.They ended up replacing parts that I had just recently replaced (fuel and air filters) and changed out a battery that I didn't want changed out, and nobody offered any sort of assistance when I brought this up. I was also surprised at some of the additional parts and fuel charges that I felt should have been included in the tune-up costs (buyer beware, I guess). What should have been a 350 service turned into an over 500 service without any communication. I paid and my equipment was returned clean and functional, but I wouldn't use Metro West again.

Note : this review is only concerning purchasing from them, as I have not worked with them for repairs. Be warned that their return policy doesn't allow for any return of equipment that has been used for any amount of time regardless of how small. While this makes sense, as people could easily take advantage, they are 100% inflexible on this and are unwilling to work with you if you are dissatisfied with the product. I claim partial responsibility, as I didn't research their policy enough before purchase, but I have since been unable to find it on their website, and they said nothing about it or have it written anywhere on their receipts. I was looking for a local place to work with for tractor repairs, but I don't trust this place to be up front with me. I won't be back. Update: did a more thorough search of the website and couldn't find anything about their policy. Downgrading my review to one star because the information is even less available then I assumed. Please at least add "call for information on our return policy" to your site to help future customers
