Nicely run pub with friendly staff. We managed to get the front window table. We didn't get to try any food because something had happened to their gas supply to the oven, but we were happy with our drinks. The manager chatted with us for a bit and he recommended a drink based on what I was after. The display out front is what drew us in - a beautiful arrangement of flowers in baskets and hanging (you can see part of it in on of the attached photos).

We had to ask for menus to be cleaned. Very noisey. My starter was very nice but my chicken curry had more veg than my two pieces of chicken plus why would you put new potatoes in curry with a side of rice. If you removed the 2 pieces of chicken then sold it as a veggie curry, I wouldn't have ordered it. The experience was OK. Back to the Ivy for me.
Beautiful food, salt and pepper pork hanging kebabs were amazing, so soft cut like butter. Gorgeous cocktails too
All of the things I didn’t like about this place (which was never much) has been sorted post lockdown! You don’t feel like having to shout or listen to other people’s conversations. The chicken is less dry and the service a bit quicker. Very impressed keep it up!
Just had a few cocktails before going for dinner elsewhere. Set up was really good and drinks were lovely. Hope to go back once this lockdown is over!
