A tour to remember for anyone who has had any connection with guitars and guitar gear. The people we met, Diana at the reception and Steve the guide, were the most helpful and professional. The place itself - rock history stares at you from every corner, starting with the museum at the lobby and throughout the tour. One of the best experiences I've had this year!
I drove 480 miles to get the filter capacitors changed on a superlead, told the repairs team no less than FOUR TIMES to change them as they are 42 years old and bulging. They didn't bother changing them so the amp has a pitch squeal. 200 later and the capacitors still need changing. Anyone know of a good amp tech?
More than exceeded my expectations! Coming from London to validate a set of headphones bought online and was greeted and attended superbly! Met a wonderful lady called Grace and who to my astonishment gave me a brand new set of headphones on the house!!! Fantastic early Xmas present. Will recommend to anyone to make the trip, you certainly won't be disappointed!! 5*****
Expectations exceeded! We just wanted to visit quickly the most famous location in the world for guitar amps without any announcement in advance. Then all of a sudden the Marshall team organised a 1hr factory tour held by Steve, an in incredibly passionate person with a lot of knowledge who gave us many insights into the amp production and the history of the company. It was not only the process, the focus on details Marshall can be proud of. For me it was also a very good example how well this company is being led. You could feel the fantastic mood in all departments. Everyone was passionate about their work and totally people and customer driven. Thank you Steve! (Now three days later I'm a proud owner of a new 2525c jubilee combo ;-)).
