I used to live this place. One day my wife and I saw the ad for their Philly cheesesteak and we ordered through the site. The meat was so peppered that they were inedible. My wife called and asked for a refund and was told sure, not a problem. So between the time she first called and the time I went the next day she reconfirmed twice more and was told absolutely, but the manager or owner Luis have to do it because the kid on the phone didn’t know how. I went and was told that the owner oils ne back in about 10 minutes. So I waited. She came back and immediately said she didn’t know how and the girl behind the counter would have to. I told her they told me you had to do it. We went back and forth until they told me that because I ordered on website they didn’t receive the money they couldn’t give refund. So I was finally told that I would be given a refund by “corporate” within 5 business days. I NEVER GOT A PENNY. Please don’t go there!!! They only care about money, not customers!!!

Way back burger being in my community has uplifted my soul. The food there is cooked with such love and joy i can taste it. The service is immaculate especially Joshua, he had helped me the other day and it really put my view on this place over the edge. He took my order and he was so kind,nice, and respectful it brought such joy to my heart. After that he gave me my food with such care and it was so good i cannot thank him enough. God bless

Was in the area last night and heard some good things about the food so thought we would try it out. We walked in and had 3 other people waiting, 1 at the counter to order and 2 waiting for online pick ups. While waiting we heard that 1 of the men picking up placed his order online and already paid but they couldn't find his order and he had to redo it and wait even longer. The 2nd man picking up heard his name for his food being ready, but again when he mentioned the order they couldn't find it. The poor guy originally trying to order from the counter had an issue with his card and was basically on hold waiting for his card to go through. All this took place in the 15 minutes we were just waiting to oder food. We were told to wait , but after that we were never talked to or acknowledge again. We ended up leaving never finding out if the food was good or not, but will say the service was extremely horrible. Very disappointed how we were treated and not sure I would ever try them again.

Ordered online on my way home from work got the message it was ready while still driving home. Go in expecting it to be good to go only there to find out it’s actually not ready because the thing I ordered (an impossible burger) is out of stock. Okay fine they offer the gardenburger instead sure, than I have to say how the prices are 3 dollars different the person in charge makes it a double and gives me extra fries. I’m placated I don’t mind having to wait for this new thing it shouldn’t take that long. Oh and the other part of my order is being made now too? weird but okay. I guess since they didn’t know if I wanted the gardenburger they didn’t make anything. Food comes out hands me the bag “it’s all in here?” I say he says “yup”. Get home the other burger I ordered is no where to be found. Call say they didn't give me my other item frustrated i can’t remember exactly what I ordered and they can’t find the order in the system, I say just give me a cheeesy cheddar with jalapeños he says it’ll be ready in 10 minutes. It takes me 15 mins to get from my house to the restaurant, get there, it’s not done. Wait for 4 minutes. Get the burger and he gives me a cup for a free drink. Doesn’t say sorry or anything mind you. I’m very hungry so I take it out as I drive home and it’s a cheesy with mushrooms and is honestly one of the worst burgers I’ve ever had, not because of the mushrooms it just tasted burnt in the worst way. Spent like 40.00 won’t be coming back. I’m giving it two stars because the employees seem to be trying it’s not like they’re lazy it really seems like their customer service leadership is lacking.

Wayback Burger is one of the finest eateries in the Mastic area. When I went in I was greeted with a warm and friendly introduction by the girl working the register at the time. She was courteous, helpful, and quick with bringing me my meal. The employee preparing my food in the kitchen popped his head out from the receiving window and exchanged some friendly light banter as he handed my order off. The two of them made my experience at Wayback one that I will share with friends and colleagues as a great place to pick up some grub when in the area. Before I left I made sure to get their names so that I could deliver some positive feedback for them here, so thanks for making my Wayback trip memorable Mariam and Russell!

25 minutes after placing our order, we had to ask why it was taking so long.. after finally receiving it, my husband's hamburger had cheese so he grabbed a chip from his basket on the way to bring his burger back (he can't eat cheese.) The manager came out to argue that he didn't say no cheese.. he was quite rude talking over my husband.. as he was at the counter, I saw that under the chip he took, many of the chips were raw, and so was my grandsons burger..we didn't want to wait another 30 min so we asked for a refund but the manager wouldn't give it to us because my husband ate 1 chip.. 35.00 wasted on undercooked food and a nasty manager. We will never go back. * The gentleman behind the counter was nice. He attempted to apologise for his managers bad attitude. Sorry, I didn't catch his name but we did appreciate that.

Wow Soooooo gooood! I loved everything I got to eat!! And the person who helped me was so helpful. I got a mudslide shake, tot fries, and I created my own chicken sandwich. So excited for my next trip back!
