What a phenomenal restaurant! had an incredible dining experience! it was so incredible to see local products being used in such innovative ways..... mind-blowing. Well worth the detour....you should definitely go out of your way to eat there. make sure to call ahead and make a reservation as the restaurant does get full. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating and the sommelier made great wine recommendations. The chef and cooks have an incredible talent to create such delicious memorable cuisine. Vista La Botica....you will not regret it!

What chef Miguel Ángel is doing with local produce is absolutely incredible. You’ll be blown away at how he keeps the ingredients wholesome and yet inventive. The flavors are full of depth and creativity. If you’re in Valladolid you must come to La Botica, one of the best restaurants in Spain!
One of those places that blows your mind and you always want to come back to see whats new tis time. A humble talented chef able to extraxt the best from each single product. He keeps growing and enhancing every single dish to perfection. If you want to have a truly honst culinary experiences this place is a must!
What a beautiful experience! If you want to be treated for a culinary journey of local ingredients and dishes with a twist which are traditional to Spain, do visit La Botica de Matapozuelos. It is worth the journey from Madrid and Valladolid! Seasonal menu changes and of course wonderful use of the pine cones. Service was seamless with the servers moving graciously around the floor as if it was a performance! I've heard and briefly met Miguel Angel de la Cruz since 2014. But after meeting him and seeing how down to earth he is. I am soo glad I was lucky enough to eat there and get a last minute reservation. Thank you for the experience of a lifetime!
