I seriously cannot understand the bad or mediocre reviews this place gets. I stayed here for two nights and it was a lovely experience. It may look old from the outside, but inside it's well maintained. I booked a non smoking single room. The room was small, but didn't feel claustrophobic. The bed is very comfortable and big for a single, the room was very clean and had all I needed. Air-conditioning worked well and quietly, there's free WiFi and a tiny TV. Even breakfast is included. The staff is lovely and very helpful, you even borrow a bicycle for free and they have a huge Manga library on the fourth floor if you want to read (Japanese only of course). Washing machine and dryer is available for 500y. The location is very central, a few minutes from the train station with a tram stop just in front. A convenience store is 500m away. It's certainly not a five star Hilton, but for the price I payed (30 per night via Expedia) it was a bargain and I would absolutely come again anytime!

Old hotel but reasonable (breakfast included) . You can rent a bicycle which saves money alot since the public transportation in Matsuyama is a bit expensive.

【お宿紹介】 松山ヒルズ ＪＲ駅前店 (松山市大手町) ＪＲ松山駅から 歩いて５分もあれば到着する そして手頃な値段の 便利な宿です。 １番いいのは 宿泊者は朝食無料ってとこ。 バイキング形式に加え、 うどんだけは一声かけると 作ってくれます。 やっぱり朝うどんは 体があったまっていいですね。 暑い夏でもいいと思います。 外出時はカギは持ち歩くため 落とさないか ちょっと心配でした
外観や内装には古さを感じさせるが、ビジネス用途で一泊するなら許容範囲内。 無料の朝食バイキングはこれまた満足できるもの。
建物は古いですが、中は割かし綺麗です。 フロントの対応は感じ良し。エレベーターは乗った時に良い香りがして好感が持てます。部屋は清潔で、ベッドも寝心地良いです。バスルームがとても狭く、少し汚いのが残念ですが、設備が古いので仕方がないのかもしれません。 駐車場は少し離れた所に、約5台分あります。1泊別途500円です。近くが良いなら、ホテル隣のコインパーキングも一晩500円です。ただし出し入れの度に料金が発生するので、チェックイン後に車で出掛けるなら、ホテルの駐車場が良いです。 朝食は、パンが無いのが残念。
