道後温泉では現在、源泉18本から2055度の湯が4カ所の分湯場に集められ、3つの外湯と旅館に配湯されている。道後温泉駅の北西、稲荷神社の境内は第4分湯場があります。簡易的な手湯施設が設置されている。

お湯で手が洗えるようになっていました。寒い時期は手が温まります。温泉の効能なのか、洗った後の手はしっとりとした感じになりました。
