Salad was great as usual. We tried the new pizza offering...ugh. ours came barely warm pieces not cut through. Crust was doughy, hardly any sauce. I have had much better gas station pizza.

I had a Chipotle chicken sandwich that was delicious
Usually on point but my visit 4/9/21 marred by a hard old cold cinnamon roll and ask for extra,extra ice in my green tea regular amount of ice given 1 star visit that order. Also wish they would sell cinnamon rolls with an option for frosting or no frosting at all their restaurant across the board a whole lot of people like their cinnamon rolls without frosting.
just went to recon this place for a possible future rendezvous. what a dump. looked abandoned. a couple of customers(?) scattered around a tumble of randomly arranged tables and chairs. walked through the whole place and no one addressed or greeted me. couldn't identify anyone as staff. didn't see anyone working or cooking. I just drifted out of the door. after I left I was wondering if I had even been in the place or what had just happened.

I love the staff at the Panera Bread in Matteson. I was trying to place an order for delivery (a story by itself) and encountered all types of problems placing the order online. Reese, Herman and most important, Marisol Macias at the Matteson Panera Bread were amazing. They helped me until I was able to get my order placed and delivered. They all went above and beyond the customer service that we encounter these days. Marisol spoke to me at 6:30am this morning to make my order happen and then called me back a few hours later to confirm part of my order!! This experience is definitely going in my gratitude journal! They all deserve raises!! Thank you, Reese, Herman and Marisol! I wish you all success!
The .99 pastry with purchase of the full size sandwich is a treat that can't be beat. I had the cinnamon roll for dessert.
