Directly on the beach, the food and location is fantastic however on both occasion I have been the service has been very slightly lacking. Up this and it's easily a solid five star review but on.my experience I dock one star.

Service so so ok....but the food and location is one of the best in Mattinata
Wonderful location, terrace right on the beach, very quiet and tranquil in contrast to the normal restaurants in Mattinata where you need at least 15-20 minutes to wait for a table during the summer high season. The Ravioli and Calamarita are a delight. But, waiters do not speak english, neither is the menu in english. Very slow service and our drinks order was forgotten, a little sloppy despite the fact that this is the higher class restaurant in the area and commands relatively high prices for the region. If you speak Italian, have a lot of time (and cash to burn :-) then definately a must if you are in the region.
It wasn't bad at all, fish is very fresh and it is shown in a iced desk where you can choose what to have cooked by the good-looking and skilled chef, price it's a little high but in rage with other of the same level around this touristic area.
Excellent food, excellent service and highly recommended!!!
