I booked a coach and all went extremely well. The coach turned up on time with a very pleasant driver who was very obliging,. All went exactly to schedule for both the outward and return journeys.

Driver was shockingly unprofessional! He did not even acknowledge us when we entered the van. It was my wedding day, and we had hired the van to drive us from London to Oxford. He spoke very rudely to me when I asked him to raise his window because it was reducing the cooling of the air conditioning, and he refused to raise his window. I then asked if he was going to turn left at a certain traffic light, and once again he answered very rudely. He then threatened that he would not continue the journey and that we would all have to make our own way from London to Oxford. He even stopped the van, to make real on his threat. At this point, I literally begged him to continue. I was sobbing on my own wedding day - he made the journey absolutely miserable for all of us. Needless to say, we will never be booking with Mayfair coaches again!
