The Dance Center has been a home for the last fifteen years for my youngest daughter, I can’t say enough good things about this studio Courtney has made life long friendships with her dance friends, Debbie, the owner, takes pride in her studio and loves what she does. She greets everyone by name and cares for not only the students but their families as well. She truly loves her job and her dance family. It makes me sad that after over twenty years I no longer have a dancer at the studio! I will truly miss the excitement and joy of dancing that Debbie and her staff have instilled in all three of my girls. I was extremely heartbroken when I couldn’t attend Courtney’s last dance rectal due to COVID this year! Thank you Debbie for all of the fond memories that I have of my girls and dancing!

I love owner Debbie! She is one of the best Tap dancers I had the privilege of being taught by. An amazing choreographer. I love Maywood Dance. This is a school for those who really want to learn
Been taking my daughter for roughly eight years. Really appreciate the staff and teachers. Students work hard all year on a dance recital which is no different than other dance schools. Stop by and judge for yourself. Dance Center is always filled with students for a reason.
For those of you who do not understand the definition of a good dance school it is based on the foundations of the technique and the integrity of the art of dance. This studio has strong foundations on growth of child developement in movement of gross motor skills as well as the development of a strong poised dancer without injuries. Several people have complained about the owner but i disagree. She follows the protocols of each of the dance techniques and says no where there is a possibility of the student suffering I jury or loss of a standard. Do not confuse this studio with the ones who just say yes to everything. This studio cares more for development of the child/dancer and not the money or the trophy. Very professional, diverse staff and a place for all ages, young and vintage. During my visit there taking classes I give this studio an A.
the MDC DOES NOT have strong foundations. It was reported by a fellow homosapian that part of the ceiling collapsed during class. Secondly, the heat broke and toddlers had to take class in the freezing cold.,,,,,!!!! The mdc teaches you the same stuff every year and favors certain students. .,,,,,,???The owner goes on tangents about coxsaccy disease...,/// theres a hole in the wall in the dressing .....&room and an unstable coat bar that could injure the head of a young child. %%%.
