Just speaking honestly. Sitting here now. Have been waiting for our food for 1-1/2 hours. The manager and waiters are short staffed. Running all over the place. Manager was rude to my wife. We could only order a few select items. We couldn't order 2 or 3 of the same roll. El CID , please hire a new manager and start from scratch.

We visited for dinner as El Cid guests on the All-inclusive plan while on vacation at the resort. We had a heck of a time finding this place as Google maps had the wrong location but we have since suggested an update. It's in the same building as the pro shop. I'm not sure how it would work if you ordered a la carte, but with the all-inclusive you choose one item from each category, an appetizer, a simple roll, a deluxe roll, and an entree. You are also encouraged to eat from the salad bar, which was not too bad- our reservation was a bit later and they hadn't replenished some of the salad bar items. We had tempura and sashimi for the appetizer. The tempura was tough and overcooked and greasy, but the sashimi was delicate, very fresh and tasty. The rolls were good but heavy on the rice. I had the spicy roll for my deluxe and it seemed to have been made ahead with standard cucumber, avocado and fish roe- the shrimp and spicy mayonnaise seemed to have been added as an afterthought and there was far too much of the sauce which completely overpowered the fresh shrimp in the roll. The timing of the dinner was such that we were going to be too full to eat the entree and had to cancel as it would have been a waste to have it prepared and not eat it. All in all it was an acceptable dining experience but it was evident that they intended to make sure you were going to leave full which kind of diminished the experience. I would have preferred smaller portions and less rice in the rolls but I can understand why they do it this way. I'd go again if I were staying at the resort but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here if I were staying elsewhere in Mazatlan.

La comida exquisita y fresca. Y apesar de de que los meseros no están certificados brindan un excelente servicio.
