Went here for dinner on the referral of some other travelers staying near us. We walked in and the place was pretty much empty, but as soon as it got dark out the place was packed. The service was good and friendly, but as it became busy, of course got a bit slower. We never had empty glasses and the live band was great, at one point having the entire place singing along. The food was great, particularly the tortilla soup, and while we didn't wait too long, others did once it really started to get busy. Will definitely be going back again and will update this review if the experience changes. UPDATE: Went back here on a Sunday night and had a really disappointing experience. There was no band, but the music was so loud you could not have a conversation. We were the only ones in the restaurant when we placed our order. We waited an extremely long time for our food as we watched others who had arrived/ordered after us be served. When our meals finally arrived the fries were cold. After asking for hot fries, I received the same fries back, fresh from what I am pretty sure was the microwave.

How do I hate thee, let me count the ways. Just tried to eat at this dive, and had so many problems that they almost defy description. We arrived at 6:30pm and got our beverage order about 10 minutes later (not bad). We finally got to order about 10 minutes after that only to be told several minutes later that the frier was broken and we had to change our order (we did). We waited, and waited, and waited...husband finished his beer and turned the bottle on it’s side (is this not the universal sign of needing some service???) only to watch one of the waitresses help herself to a beer and walk away as we watched the glasses being hand washed (no dishwasher) and noticed the main electrical panel behind the bar had no cover on it. After about an hour the owner, manager or random person noticed we were fuming and apologized for the wait. At that point we asked for the meal to go and eventually it was delivered. We got home to find it was not what we ordered and the quality was poor. Usually we give a new place the benefit of the doubt as they work out the kinks - this place will not be seeing our business ever again and we will tell everyone we know to avoid it like the plague.
