I had an emergency visit due to a scratched cornea and not being able to open either eye due to pain. My husband and kids walked me into the building where we were immediately yelled at to put masks on, as I was trying to grab mine and explain that my husband and kids weren't staying, they were yelled at saying they weren't allowed in there without masks. They went out and I was told I had to leave and wait for a call to come back in (which no one told me to call when I got there), so I had to blindly walk out into the ice-y weather and blindly walk my way back in as I didn't want my kids to be yelled at again. The other staff was amazing, but the lady at the front desk was ridiculously rude.

I had an appointment to see Dr. Grover just recently, and my entire experience was wonderful!! Jacelyn at the front desk was very kind and friendly and made the check in process easy. Weston took me back and was so nice and very personable! She was very confident in what she was doing which put me at complete ease. Dr. Grover is the best eye doctor I've seen by far! He is very very nice, and he took his time. I never felt rushed or like I was just another number to be seen; he truly cared about my well being. The prescription he gave me was perfect and crystal clear. Jocelyn the optical helped me with my glasses and was very efficient! All in all, I will be back every year for my eye needs! Thank you McDonald Eye Associates, and especially to Dr. Grover!!!!

Had a scary (to me anyway!) visual thing happen last night. I called the office this morning and they worked me in late this afternoon. I'd never had an eye exam and was a bit worried to boot. The staff was more than great at putting me at ease (thank you Westin and Dr Grover). The check in was simpler than just about any medical office I've ever visited. Fantastic experience, and not just because the scary visual thing is actually fairly minor. Hopefully, I will never have to find out how they handle really serious eye conditions, but if I have to find out I will be entirely comfortable vising this practice.

It's okay. We won't be returning. I was disappointed because I had once gone to another McDonald for an emergency when I received a papercut on my eye. They were very efficient, but unfortunately that can't be said about the Bentonville location. Their selections on eyeglasses are outdated and limited. They need more modern options. Husband received the wrong prescription, which was resolved once addresses, but it still happened. Mother in law insists on bringing son there, as he has horrible eyesight and a condition that requires a specialist, but we are taking him somewhere else just incase, for a second opinion.
