Mr. McKinney did a great job since the initial call that was affordable compared to other lawyers in the San Antonio area. I was fighting a major banking/insurance business in San Antonio as they were trying to make me resign due to moving to another state for family medical issues even though I was a permanent work at home employee. Mr. McKinney took the time to listen to my complaint and came up with a letter that I sent to my Manager and HR personnel. After about 2 weeks of PTO and 3 weeks of paid administrative leave the employer’s decision was to keep me employed even though their first decision was to make me quit and advised they would not support my move initially. In the wake of COVID-19, my hours at work were drastically reduced. For the first time in my life, I had to apply for unemployment benefits, but was denied.
