I worked at GCB , this what I know of my situation. Fighting for a correct amount of money on your check is true. While I had a rental vehicle from Budget or Enterprise, I was given different answers if I should or should not have personal car insurance, because of the uncertainty response from GCB I had it just in case. It was fawned upon to work more than 8 hours a day, I remember my first week working at GCB, they called me to change my time sheet to all 8 hours even through I was traveling to and from the sites and doing the work, some days I deserved 10,11,12 or even 13. When we are done with an area, we move to another area sometimes hundreds of miles away, HR will tell us to be lets say we need to travel to Phoenix, AZ from Sante Fe, NM by tomorrow start of day but tell you the information a 2PM, 3 hours shy of hitting your 8 hour mark, and if you don't make it to your destination,wait the morning of and get a talking to. Also I heard down the grape vine that many HR employees are here on a H1-B1 visa and if they lose their job, they are forced back to India due to policy. I'm assuming that's why the labor the HR does is such a mess, bascially GCB got their employees enslaved. Lastly the pay for living expenses such as Per DIem and hotel expenses is a joke compared to other companies.
