I went in just for an office visit with Dr. Tamula. She was by far the rudest doctor I have ever talked to. Dr. Tamula treated me as if I was a junkie on the hunt for pills. Her first question was how many drugs I do. I do not do drugs, and this topic had no relevance to my visit. As I was discussing my cancer diagnosis, joint pain, and emotional state, she did not believe me and kept interrupting or talking over me. When I told her I am a former Marine and from a lower socioeconomic status, she then treated me as if I was mentally deficient. After roughly 30 minuets of going in circles, I left feeling humiliated and insulted. I was ready to pay for my visit, but the receptionist rudely said I will be billed for an undisclosed amount. After multiple attempts to call billing and being on hold for 30 minutes, I left a callback number for a call that never came. I do not know why this hospital is uniquely horrible, but I want my medical data far away from Dr. Tamula and the hospital she works for. Even the VA is better than this circus called a hospital and the VA is terrible!

I was reading these reviews and I find all these negative comments hard to believe. I have been to the ER with Trauma and Medical conditions and have always been treated with kindness and respect. I understand if someone comes in by EMS they have to be triaged and evaluated first. Everyone should know that and be understanding. I think that going to the ER upsets all of us and we tend to think they need to take care of us/our family first. Just remember that is not possible all the time. Nurse's are truly called to do the job and trust me it is not easy. They love what they do, but are human beings. We just need to try to be more understanding ourselves if possible. I have been on both sides and do know what I am talking about. Thanks again for the excellent care I have received.

Went in for stitches. When I asked them if they took my insurance they just shrugged their heads and said, “I’m not sure?” But gladly rushed me into an emergency room. Sat on the table for 20 min before someone checked up on me. When they checked up on me I told them that I did not want anything done to me because they were not sure if they took my insurance. Nurse came in gave me a tetanus shot, squirted saline on my cut and wrapped my cut in cloth. 3 weeks later I have a bill for 1,200 dollars..... for what? I received no stitches, no X-rays, no pain meds, and no service. Please do not let these guys rip you off. Now I am stuck with a 1,200 bill during the coronavirus. Thanks for letting a hard working American citizen down.

You see the commercials and read the brochures but being here today opened my eyes and understanding of what St Jude is all about. Our tour guide , Alexa, was phenomenal.
