If I could give 'no stars' to Windermere Propert Mgt. of McMinnville Oregon, I would. My advice is to simply un the other way\ from this company! If I had anything positive to say, I would. I have never in my life seen so little professionalism. It is not a stretch, at all, to say they are dishonest. I have no idea how Shawn Dunn can live with himself, or even sleep at night. Run!!

I was not too impressed with this local branch of Windermere. The real estate agent was very nice and at the beginning everything seemed great. However, we saw a house we liked, applied and paid two screening fees for a total of 50. We were told that we would just be waiting for approval and it usually only takes 24-48 hours. Four days later, we still had not heard back from Windermere so I called. At that point I was told that someone else had applied and they would be deciding who they liked better. Then I called back the next day and was told they chose someone else. What?? If we saw the property first and applied first we should get the property as long as our credit and background checks come back okay. And if we weren't the first to apply, we should have been told that ahead of time. Because of this we lost an entire week of looking at other properties, our credit report got dinged from the credit check, and we lost 50. I think it is wrong to take people's money and make them think all they are waiting for is the result of a background and credit check. It took us a month to finally find a place in town that was decent and affordable and now we are back to square one. Not a happy customer. I would rate this company with one star, but I will give it two because the agent was very nice.
