first time honed the block they said it was ok got it to work it had pits in 3 cylinders I took it back he bored it 20 over turned out good I built my bottom end went to put the heads on I looked in the intake ports and they didn't grind the valves still had rust in three intake ports head surface job was great looking but I lost my confidence in them I'm an automotive technician the whole reason I took it apart was water leaked into 3 cylinders in storage

I'm a returning customer, had an issue with the 1st head, that the owner was willing to work on a solution, 2nd visit, I just wanted my block cleaned, honed, head resurfaced, seals replaced, and cleaned, small 1.6l, figured it wouldn't be much, he quoted me 215, after thinking about, I didn't want to go through the hassle of buying cleaning supplies and doing it myself, I paid him and expected only the best, got it the next day ready to go, head still had the carbon built up that I assumed was supposed to be apart of the cleaning, didn't sweat it too much, and the block came in a green bag ready to go, the mechanic was helpful enough to load it on my small pickup, so I got home, got my motor stand ready and opened the green bag to notice a dirty block, I can only assume all they did to it was power wash it, I still noticed the oil stains in the same spot, other shops were charging like 50 more for the same work, I guess you get what you paid for. And yes Brad, I now know the difference between vatting and cleaning, learn to engage your customers better to prevent issues like this.

Very friendly and extremely helpful with in and out and it giphy got me right fixed up and even charge the dealership for repairs when the dealer could not get me in for 2 weeks overall very budget-friendly an excellent service

took in a head on a Monday morn. and was promised it back by Wednesday night. Wednesday after noon we took a part up to find that they haven't even touched it yet! then when we got the bag of valve stem seals back they wrote it was a 3.0 mits. and it wasn't! it was a 2.0..... big difference! they cant keep track of what they are doing or keeping their promised time. I am not impressed and will NOT use them again I took my stuff and took my business elsewhere. the 40 dollar price difference is not worth the hassle and rudeness I endured.

I called for a quote for clean and bore of an engine block. As the conversation went on I told the owner that I already mic'd all eight cylinders. He immediately insulted my intelligence and treated me as if I was an ignorant idiot who doesn't know how to read micrometers or know how to measure a cylinder wall in more than one spot. He is quoted as saying; "I've been doing this for forty years and I'll tell ya, you want a PROFESSIONAL mic'ing your engine." Guess what Brad? I am a professional! You didn't take the time to learn customer service etiquette OR find out who it was you were talking to. In my 40 years, I've learned to listen to the customer and offer suggestions, not make assumptions and insults. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
