Does not return patient calls. Keeps asking me if I am using street drugs (I am not—don’t even drink) because during my first sleep study, he found pretty significant central sleep apnea, which CAN be caused by some drugs. But he has asked me four times about using street drugs! Still no. Had third sleep study done three weeks ago and haven’t gotten results. Twice I’ve called and left a message —once about my medication he prescribed. Took him over a week to return my call. Second time, I called last week because I hadn’t gotten results from THIRD sleep study and was told it would take no more than 5-7 days; it has now been three weeks. No return call yet. Meanwhile I’m still falling asleep during my daily activities. I’m not able to drive bc I am afraid of falling asleep behind the wheel. My quality of life has deteriorated and I’m not able to successfully perform my day-to-day tasks due to my excessive sleepiness and falling asleep during the day. I’ve complied 100% with the treatments prescribed so far. Three sleep studies and tens of thousands of dollars later and I have gotten no relief from what brought me to see a sleep specialist to begin with.
