I do not like stewarts ice cream (especially the cotton candy). It does not taste good, instead it is nauseating. The iced coffee is good. Bubbles and hayners are way better in terms of ice cream.

This is my favorite of all the Stewart's (Park Ave Mechanicville). I go here every single day because I love everyone who works here. Dan, the manager, is such a fantastic human being and always makes our experience enjoyable. Thanks, Dan. And thank all of you for being awesome!

Tiny ice cream cones My wife and I stopped in yesterday for a couple of single dip ice cream cones. May I first say we have done this for years all over the capital region and almost always have a good experience. Stewart's Shops is generally a well run organization compared to other C store chains we've visited. Way more often than not we get cones with a heaping amount of ice cream loaded inside and on top made by skilled, consciousness servers. We feel this is a fair exchange of money for product even though 2 single dip cones cost over 5. Yesterday we didn't get our money's worth. We each got a small round ball of ice cream on top of a cone, mine a regular, hers a sugar. I complained but the server didn't seem to understand my point. I hope this is not a new company procedure to reduce cost and improve profit. If so, it won't work as sales will decline greatly. Tiny ice creams are just not worth 2.50. I am actually thinking our experience was due to the server not putting forth the effort it takes to make worth-the-money cones. I guess we'll learn more on our next visit, but not to this Stewart's. Got a nice response from Stewart's management so I changed my rating to 4 stars.
