This church has been in the hearts of the people living in El Poblado because it was born in a tent, where the people came together on Saturdays and Sundays for.the mass. Fathers sold fried empanadas all the building time in order to get the funds to get the job done. Empanada is a fried corn flour with potatoes ate with some spicy sauce. Nowadays, this church is home for baptisms, marriages and also, funerals. Under the church, in the basement, they have ossuaries for late family members.
