To even set up an appointment was difficult. I was given a timeframe and once it was a week past the max on that timeframe... I called to be treated very poorly and talked at. My entire experience made it seem that I was a nuisance and my business wasn't actually needed or wanted. We still had the survey done, because I wasn't given the opportunity to say I no longer wanted the service or be able to voice my concern (hence the comment of being talked at by one of the gentleman who works here). It took THREE MONTHS to get an invoice. Let's see if we even get our paper work for our survey after this and how long that will be.
I made an appointment in October of 2018 which they came out for. Now it’s February 2019 and I’m just now seeing the bill and still haven’t seen the survey. When I call to get some clarity on when I’ll actually see the paper survey and to see if there is any type of discount for the long wait and since I still haven’t actually received the survey he instantly got defensive and said that’s up to me if I want to not pay him and his crew for the work they did and saying the stakes in the ground should be good enough (I requested stakes and the paper survey and never said I wouldn’t pay him and his crew). This was probably the most unprofessional phone call I’ve ever had and I would not recommend working with them.
The person I talked with is very nice. They are kind of me even though my English is not good. I think I Give them 5 star not enough .
Being in the real estate industry, I routinely order residential boundary surveys. MVK is my go to company for this, both due to their great service as well as their competitive pricing. Residential survey quotes can vary substantially from company to company, but MVK is consistently a great price (get a couple of quotes and see for yourself). They’re very easy to reach during business hours and they’re extremely helpful anytime I have additional questions. I’ve had a few instances in which they have not received an email from me, so now I simply request a confirmation of receipt whenever I place an order, which they gladly do. I take recommendations very seriously, and I only endorse persons and businesses who have consistently done a great job for me and my clients. Recommending Dale Van Kooten and MVK is an absolute no brainer.
I made 3 appointments and they missed them all, and were glib about the whole thing. This business is neither timely or competent.
