This place is a joke!! All of Pinnacle Health is actually. They gave me a blood test to see what im allergic to because i couldnt stop the antihistamine for a week i was that bad with allergies. When they got the results, they told me i didnt have allergies when clearly i did because i had these same symptoms last year during pollen season!! Stay away from this place!!!!

My appointment with Dr. Harper was truly absurd. He spent about 10 minutes telling me about how his friends “downgraded” to Mercedes and then started bragging about how he and his son get VIP tickets to some sporting event in Las Vegas each year. He proceeds to tell me that there is no other option for my winter allergies but his series of shots. I was a fool and believed him. He then gives me Xyzal to hold me over until the shots have been prepared. After 48 hours on Xyzal, I didn’t have anymore allergies. Now I have to pay for the shots I don’t need because I foolishly signed the contract before trying the Xyzal. (I had tried other antihistamines but had trouble with restless leg syndrome or didn’t have success at all, and I hadn’t yet discovered Xyzal). He told me it was an advanced version of Claritin and he was correct about that. I should have folllowed my instincts and tried the Xyzal before signing up for the shots. I was a fool for trusting him when he told me Xyzal would only help me survive the time before he had the shots made and given the Xyzal the opportunity to see if it fixed my problems. I know many people do need allergy shots; to insist that they were imperative to cure my allergies prior to introducing the Xyzal and seeing if it was in fact successful, however, was not very professional in my opinion. And bragging about your income and high-end cars....I should have taken that as a red light.

I have been a patient here for over 10 years. I’ve been pleased with the care I’ve received and the attention to my feedback regarding my care and allergic reactions. The last several months I have waited for my office visit as well as routine injections for at least 20 minutes to up to an hour one time! I understand this care requires flexibility due to unexpected reactions but I would really appreciate a call ahead that they’re running that far behind so I have the option to reschedule and/or rearrange my work day schedule. It is a time commitment to schedule and fit in injections during a work day with travel and wait time after the injection. The lack of communication about lateness makes me feel like my care and my time is less important than someone else’s. Increase your nurse providers or have someone solely for injections. Let your patients know staff is running really behind instead of ignoring the waiting room filling up. I do like the care I’m provided but would appreciate more respect for my time

Though the doctor seemed to address my concerns, my issue is with billing. When their charge is 358.00 for new patient visit and 580.00 for a test, they should let you know these exorbitant costs up front so you can see what the insurance will cover before you choose their service. My family doctor does that, if a test is expensive, will let me know up front to contact my insurance.
