Shelly scheduled my emergency trip and she was very sweet and helpful. She is one of the few good people scheduling for mtm. Thanks again shelly from Minnesota!

They allow permission slips to expire with no prior notice. They inform the parents at 8pm on the day it expires with no prior notice. So in effect your child is automatically denied access to necessary services. I have asked why they don't have a process to inform parents at least 1-2 weeks prior to expiration and heard, \Oh we don't do that.\ Why not? If any other business allowed 100% of contracts to expire with automatic denial of services to children, they would be fired.

Many times the drivers were very late in coming to our house so my 19-yr old daughter was also very late for her medical appointments; sometimes a driver didn't show up at all, no phone call either. Several times the drivers were late in picking my daughter up from her medical appointments; sometimes as long as an hour. Other times a driver showed up when we did not have a ride scheduled. All the drivers had trouble with English, either speaking or understanding, which did not help with communication efforts. My daughter was afraid to ride with some of them because of poor driving skills or aggressive driving. It's too bad because there is a great need for medical transportation. I give them one star because the dispatchers tried to work with us.

MTM has some major problems with communication and getting transportation for clients. They should not be running a ride service. Not even sure where to start on the long list of problems we've had with them over the last year but I'll try. 1) Ride reimbursement: do not talk to them via phone, make sure it's all documented on the chat portal or you might be screwed and chances are you’re gonna be screwed anyways. With our first trip, they told us it was a reoccurring trip number, only to find out months down the road it wasn’t. A manager said she would appeal all the rides we were to get reimbursed for. She didn’t and we found out months later from another manager the problem wasn’t solved. Still waiting on payment- we’re going on a year now. 2) Even with documentation, they will mess it up, whether it’s a trip number or if you’re hoping you scheduled a ride. Numerous times a trip was said to be set up (we have the documentation chat stating so), only to find the day of it never was, leaving no ride for that day. 3) They cannot tell us specifics on how they calculate miles, other than google maps. When pushed for specifics, they could not answer. Our mileage is several miles off each way from their calculations. 4) They also do not communicate with their ride services- when we’ve spoken with the specific rider service we use, they didn’t have some of the dates from MTM when they should have resulting in needing to write MTM again. Today was the final straw, we are now contacting the state and writing this review to warn others. If you have another option, use it over MTM.
