I write this review on behalf of my 92 year old friend, JP who was in Medilodge's care a several months ago. She was at Huron Valley for a spell and was discharged to Medilodge for rehab care. I was really concerned about the level of care she was going to receive bc frankly, the previous reviews were not that positive. No other facilities had any vacancies and so, she had to go here. It was a pleasant surprise. She stayed in the 100 wing where she had a nice view of the outdoors where there was bird feeder to which she could enjoy the wildlife, the room was clean, staff during her stay was attentive to all her needs. She even reported the food was pretty good with their choices. Her husband years ago had to stay at a facility for awhile and although it touted a good reputation, it wasn't half as good as the care she received here. She was pleased. She stayed for a little over 2 weeks and improved enough with her PT to be discharged home. I hope they keep up the level of attentiveness as my friend is recovered and stronger because of their involvement. She thanks the staff for their care.

Medilodge of MIlford is a great place to work we have a great activity department and the people here are real friendly, everybody is willing to help you. The facility is really clean and smells good. Kristine the administrator has kept us all safe we have no covid in our building.
I’ve recently started working here, and have never met a group of more caring professionals. They truly care about the mental well being and comfort of the residents. The disconnect felt by the residents and their families amid the pandemic is a challenge for all, but they have instituted ways for them to communicate and see each other remotely. I am proud to be a part of this team.
I could not say enough good things about this facility! The aides are terrific! CNAs, Ashley and Jodi, are incredible. Their kindness and dedication to comfort and care go above and beyond. The nursing staff is top notch. Nurses, Robin, Tina, and Joy, are wonderful. They offer a sense of security through a deeper level of involvement in my care. The food is above and beyond – dietary staff has been assisting with dietary changes and restrictions and are very accommodating. The foods delicious – best meal of the day is lunch. Housekeeping staff is very attentive in keeping my room clean and ensuring my laundry is done with extra care. Jerry and his activity staff are great! Friday is popcorn day! They assist me with learning technology and help me access the community through internet. The Social Services Director, Mallory, wears many hats and is excellent in the execution of those hats. The only negative is longer wait times for assistance. This facility is the answer to 24/7 complete and excellent care. This facility saved my life!
My nephew is there again. For the 2nd time in a month. Both times for rehab after the hospital. The first time, no physical activity what so ever. Supposed to be walking, exercise, strengthening the muscles in the lungs and legs. All he could do was lay in a bed for another 3 weeks. Then went home too weak to walk. So back in the hospital, then back to rehab in Medilodge. Food is terrible, cold, no drinks except water on shift change. No 7-Up, Vernon's, Cola, only water! They make sure they keep the beds full because they are paid for by insurance companies. So they don't care about the people, as long as they have a full house!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!! KEEP YOUR EYES ON YOUR LOVED ONES!!!
