First week at my new house, so first week with Rumpke. Collection is on Thursday. So let me tell y’all how it’s going.... I set out my bin on Wednesday evening, I come home Thursday afternoon and see the bin hasn’t been collected. I called customer support to confirm Thursday was the collection date, and it was. When I went into town around 4:30pm, I saw the two other rumpke bins had been collected. So I called customer service back and they put in a dispatch for the driver to collect on Friday. When I got home this Friday afternoon the bin still wasn’t collected. I called customer service back and they confirmed that the dispatch was put in and assigned to the driver. It’s a little after 6:15pm and still no collection. I see another review with the same issue, so it appears to be a repetitive issue.

Trash wasnt picked up the 1st week untill I called many times now the 2nd week trash was to be picked up on Tues this is Thurs with no preturn call from supervisors and my trash is still there after many promises that it will be picked up
Excellent community involvement! Love to see a company supporting our local 4H like Rumpke has done. Thank you from our family to yours. Any company will have customer service comments, but community support is evidence of the standards by which a company operates. Refreshing to see in this day and age, keep doing your good works!!
We had a 3 year dumpster contract. I’m relieved it’s almost over. (Scott County) Once again our last pickup date came & went while the dumpster is over filled. They included a fuel charge, however it doesn’t take fuel when they don’t pick up when they’re supposed to but we still have to pay it. When I called she said she would put in a work order but wasn’t sure if they’d be in my area. If they would’ve picked up on the day they WERE in the area, that wouldn’t be an issue. Needless to say, they never came so our 2 week pickup is once again a monthly pickup. At the end of the first year they changed our yearly billing to “their year”. I made sure to watch my calendar & sent my written notice of cancellation by certified mail as indicated in the contract or the contract would automatically renew for another 3 years. I definitely wouldn’t recommend Rumpke.
