Great point of view, full of cultural meaning. To be recommended, even in winter (although the cable car is not running and you will have to walk a bit to see the place). I will certainly come back in the summer.

Sherlock Holmes traces truly nice to visit. Nice views, waterfall is better to see on spring
Truly beautiful place, we didn't regret coming here at all. And it was fun to ride this tiny cute train. I liked how the driver with gray hair were waving at people every time he sees someone, it was very sweet.
What an amazing band beautiful place. You can take the little wooden Train up and down or walk. The paths to the Sherlock Holmes place are small and a bit slippery so stay safe people. But the view is a lot better from that side!
A beautiful waterfall and well worth a visit. To get the most out of it make it the start point for a longer hike to take in the amazing Swiss countryside. For those on a mission you can walk up or take a cool funicular which takes you directly to the falls
Hiked there from the Aareschlucht, then down with the fernicular. Great views and the falls are impressive. No wonder sir Arthur Conan Doyle chose it for \the final problem\.
As a Sherlock Holmes fan this is a place on the list that must be visited. In January there isn’t a lot of water flowing down the falls, and as this year has been fairly dry so far there isn’t a huge amount of ice. It’s still an impressive place to visit though.
I can’t say this experience is something unique..After spending two weeks in Austria and in Switzerland, this waterfall and view seems like a very mediocre. So try to plan visiting this place in the beginning of your journey. Otherwise, you won’t get any “wow” effect. Could be a must for Sherlock fans.
