So far they have been awesome. Took my blue Great Dane to them for a collapsed lung and I couldn't ask for better care. Dr D'Ambrosio was very knowledgeable and kept me informed at every change. She even sent me pictures of my baby so I could see that she was doing okay. We have 4 Great Danes, show them, and our male was number 32 in the country in 2019 and I don't trust my babies with just anyone. I highly recommend them for their excellent service and care!

Today we laid to rest our beloved Ginger. The compassion and professionalism of the staff was amazing. We thank them from being by our side as we said our farewell.

My 8-week old pug puppy accidentally got into an older dog's seizure medication and was experiencing an overdose on Christmas Eve - most veterinary offices nearby were closed but thankfully Animal Specialty & Emergency Care was open and immediately attended too him and placed him in critical care. We were told he had a very low chance of survival but that they'd do everything in their power to save him as he consumed a very high dosage of the medicine. Safe to say that I was nearly inconsolable but the staff calmly walked me through their care plan and expectations, provided reasonable pricing and explained any projected charges, offered the option to for me to call and check in with a vet throughout the night, and even emailed me a cute Christmas shot of him recovering the next day. Thanks to this wonderful staff for provided amazing care, service, and comfort for our pets over the holidays and who were able to let me bring my little guy back home in 24 hours just in time for Christmas! Today, he's happy, healthy and back in full-puppy strength!

When my dog Roxy passed away on a Sunday and everything was closed I was able to take her there where they handled the cremation. They showed compassion and understanding. Thank you for helping us through this tough time.

My vet called ahead and then faxed all the bloodwork results. I had to drive about an hour and a half to get there with my sick 11 year old dog. When I arrived we couldn't enter and they acted like they didn't know who I was. When I questioned them further, then said my vet had called but they didn't get the faxed paperwork/had to look for it. Then said it would be a three hour wait outside in our car. We couldn't leave and come back or we would be placed in the back of the line. I was told because my dog was standing and walking he was stable and had to wait. They said there was another emergency hospital 20 minutes away. We contacted Animal Specialty & Emergency Hospital (no affiliation with this one) who said they could take him right away. Five minutes after we left my phone rang and they said they could now see my dog. Big difference from waiting 30 minutes to the three hours we were told we would have to wait. So they either saw us leave and called just to be unprofessional or someone finally looked at his paperwork from my vet and decided he wasn't stable. My advise is go to the other emergency hospital. They were much more hands on and much more compassionate. I did not get a warm and fuzzy feeling about this emergency center and am glad I didn't decide to leave my dog here. We know our dogs and know when something is critical with them!
