Sad Dr. Velleff got his license revoked due to a patient (who was a friend) who accused him of misprescribing medications because in reality, he refused to give this patient MORE medications than he/she was on and told them he had to dismiss them from the practice..because a test showed he was doing illicit drugs. He did the RIGHT thing. Meanwhile, my mom who has severe chronic pain from the neck down is scared for her life and the extraneous amount of pain she will be in because this doc who actually cares about his patients had his license revoked. Greed is truly sad thesedays, my mom and probably others are in fear of finding a new doctor who actually wants to help their patient, not tell them erve oblations are bad because god didn't intend for your neves to get burned\ when that's the only thing that has helped my moms pain. That's his replacement. Yes I'm sure god would love to see my mom in crippling pain so bad she'd rather be dead. Maybe your god is okay with that but mine isn't. Wish they'd bring the caring doctor back.

I'm going to say this. The ones who writes bad review is the one's the office has busted for doing wrong. He does take straight Medicare for the office visit so people know what your talking about before posting. I've been going through him and he takes my insurance so I can say that I know for a fact he's not like others. If you can't pass the test for drugs in your system it's your fault not his fault your doing street drug's. It's his job to not to see you anymore since you broke the law. So please don't be mad because you are going to be very drug sick cause you have the problem .
Dr. Velleff is awesome. I have numerous injuries from an auto accident where I broke 22 bones at a young age. I have continuously progressed to the point of needing knee replacements and will need further joint replacements in the future. He has done his best to manage my pain using other forms of treatment along with medications to insure I not only have a better quality of life, but also so I don't have to take mass amounts of medications and develop other issues. I read other reviews stating their son was shooting up his medication. That is not the doctors fault, that is the sons fault. People who are suffering shouldn't have to suffer more because of irresponsible patients. I suggest getting that son into treatment. Dr. Velleff makes you submit all of your medical records prior to even accepting you as a patient so he can determine if there is a need for such a course of treatment and he starts with the least invasive forms of treatment. If patients are not honest with him, again not his fault. If you test positive for alcohol that's a strike against you because it specifically states in your contract that drinking and meds are a no-no. Also, YES some medications will give a false positive for other drugs. Again, not the doctors fault for doing his job. A simple retest or further analysis from the lab should sort all that out. You can not fault a dr for being responsible with his patients. Terri is no longer there which I never had a problem with, but Liz is always on her job and answers all my questions/issues in a timely fashion.
Been seeing him for about three years, for me he has been a great doctor. He assisted me in bringing my doses of medications down to a manageable level, actually halved them and still get enough relive so I can stay active and try and enjoy my life. He is concerned for his patients he did not hesitate to help me with other issues besides pain management, he was also proactive in ridding the cliniq of scammers that were frequinting the office from before he was there. He is a great improvement in my life
