Dr Freas may not have a warm bedside manner; however she provides excellent care. She has taken exceptional care of my father for many years. He has issues with skin cancer and has had several surgeries to remove the cancerous areas . I, too, am a pt of Dr Freas. She is thorough and direct. She is not one for chitchatting with pts. That’s fine by me. As for the woman who gave Dr Freas a 1 star review because Dr’s staff rescheduled her appointment, due to her child distracting the Dr was unfair and has absolutely nothing to do Dr Freas’ knowledge and professionalism. The woman wrote she hired a babysitter for her other children?? I understand taking off work is difficult and costly. Who had the appointment? The woman or the child? Children can distract other patients, the Dr, as well as the office. I don’t appreciate listening to children when I don’t feel well. I highly recommend Dr Freas and her office staff is very sweet.

The staff were very friendly as was Dr. Freas, and I found Dr. Freas to be knowledgeable and accurate in her diagnosis. I would definitely recommend her. She took time to listen an understand my issue. Thank you Dr. Freas and staff.
This office is not kid friendly. I brought my child with me to my appointment and was subjected to rude comments about my child from the office staff to other patients in the waiting room. My child was not misbehaving mind you, just talking and playing on the tablet. After waiting 45 minutes in the waiting room, I was told that the doctor would not be able to concentrate with my child in the room and I would not be seen by the doctor that day? I was asked to reschedule when my child was not present. I refused, because I felt this was not a warm and comfortable environment to receive healthcare in. This was upsetting, because I took off work for this appointment and got a babysitter for my other children to attend this appointment. It would have been nice if they would have told me 5 minutes into the appointment that they don’t like children, rather than making me waste 45 minutes of my life.
I found Dr. Freas to be engaging, to the point, helpful, kind, knowledgeable and thoughtful.. her office staff was great!!!
My mother has been seeing Dr. Freas for years. Since she was going to need surgery for melanoma, I went with her to her most recent appointment. During that appointment, Dr. Freas was thorough yet kind. She explained exactly what the procedure would entail and what aftercare was needed. At the end of the visit she asked if we had questions. I came with a list but I was surprised that I had none left since Dr Freas had answered them all - and then some. Of course melanoma is a scary word to hear, but Dr. Freas' bedside manner was impeccable. She was nothing but kind and friendly to my mother and spent plenty of time with us. She didn't sugar coat things, but she told us the reality of the situation and the things we could BOTH do (and I'm not even a patient of hers yet!) to prevent skin cancer. She told us the facts that we needed to hear. While it's still scary to have any kind of cancer, my mother said she was very comfortable while most doctors make her extremely anxious. I could not believe it when I saw that this doctor had only 2.7 stars! From my mother's years of visits with her, and my one time accompanying her to see Dr Freas, we are beyond impressed with her work. Her office is clean and brightly lit. Her staff seem happy, helpful, and friendly. Dr Freas has amazing eyes for spotting even minor sun damage or potential cancers on the skin. When I go to a dermatologist, I already know this is the one for me!
