Dr. Christophi is the best Doctor I have ever seen, period. He is so sincere and very competent. I trust him very much and feel very comfortable in his care. His staff is also very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. I am so very happy during this stage in my life with the health issues I have faced that I ended up in the care of Dr. Christophi and his staff.

1 star because it will not let me give ZERO STARS! I had my colonoscopy 3/6/2020 this date is important because a YEAR later I am still battling with insurance coding error. This was my very first colonoscopy. Which is covered at 100% for everyone with insurance...here is my issue Dr. Christophi / insurance billing; as stated by my insurance company billed it as a "Gastric procedure" which leaves me with a 1055.00 bill from the hospital, in speaking to my insurance company it should have been submitted as "colonscopy/routine" so he is the kicker, his billing department keeps telling me because they took a biopsy that changes the code; there for I have to pay. Guess what they are WRONG!!! The 2013 Healthcare reform act states they can not do that and it is covered at 100%. So for a YEAR I have been trying to get them to correct this mess and yet it is NOT! What do I need to due. I call and call and argue to no resolve! But you see I do medical billing and I am standing my ground. A "lay" person would just pay this bill! You all need to make sure You check with your insurance before you pay.! DON'T JUST PAY, QUESTION! A routine colonoscopy should never have to be paid for! BIOSOPY OR NOT IT DOES NOT CHANGE TO A PAYABLE PROCEDURE! Don't let the wonderful bedside demeanor fool you, as stated by others it is wonderful, but when his office screws up, it seems impossible to fix!

Dr. Christophy is compassionate and caring. Takes his time with you and listens. He made me feel comfortable and was very informative before and after my procedure. He was respectful to the staff assisting him. Several staff people told me I was in really good hands.

I don’t know his medical knowledge but I don’t recommend him. He cancelled my colonoscopy in the last minute (after I was not eating certain things for days, and fasting the last day) telling me he didn’t get the confirmation from my insurance company, while he already had the authorization. He doesn’t have respect for the patient.
