I was excited to try out this place due to the great reviews but after eating there today, I left a little disappointed. Due to the pandemic they are only taking orders for take out or outdoor dining. The only contact you have with the employees is through a small window with an intercom which is completely understandable. After grabbing our meals from the window and sitting on their deck (food was given in a timely manner) we realized the roasted pork was extremely fatty and the carnitas were over cooked. I must say that the empanadas, rice and beans were delicious. Although it wasn't spectacular, we were ok with it. As a family of 5, we ordered an appetizer, 3 kids meals and 2 adult meals. They are a little overpriced for their portions. We spent right around 90. Can't honestly say we will return.
Without a doubt the food tasted very flavorful and authentic. The meat was very juicy and tender but.... For the portion amount and the price was not good at all. The food is very expensive and the portions was very small. The customer service as well was horrible. Great tasting food but wont spend my money there again.
It was a big disappointment... Cuban sandwich wasn’t good enough for their price . I can find better in town and it will be hot. We wish we didn’t make that stop.
