I am very pleased with this company and my fencing. Yes, it took awhile to get installed. But Mossy came out immediately to give me an estimate. Jim L helped me get my idea on paper and got the process rolling. Another local company could not even come for an estimate for many weeks. My fencing is perfect for me and I've gotten many compliments on how nice it looks. My favorite is the Garden Gate that they fabricated on site. It's beautiful and exactly what I had envisioned. The crew were professional, courteous, did an amazing job and I would definitely recommend.

Mossy Oak Fence – HORRIBLE Customer Service 5-Months later Mossy Oak is still avoiding repairing my fence. Mossy Oak installed my fence incorrectly on my neighbor’s property even though they were provided a survey. This company has been horrible to deal with, excuse after excuse. •\tJune – Requested they come out to move fence onto my property line. •\tAugust 26th – A crew came out and moved part of my fence however took away pieces leaving me an incomplete fence. (again, they did not bring a copy of the survey, I had to provide one and assist them in measuring because they had no plans to correctly measure property lines) •\tAs of today, October 30th I’m still missing fence pieces and they have not returned my calls, emails or attempted to repair.
The staff (Bob Coleman - the estimator, Amanda and Melissa - in the Melbourne office and Dave, Pete, and Justina - fence removal/construction) were all very professional and thorough. Mossy Oak Fence was the most reasonably of the four quotes for my old fence removal and the new fence installation. I am glad I chose Mossy Oak Fence for the job. I highly recommend Mossy Oak Fence Company Melbourne office.
We brought 6 companies to give us estimates for our new fence. From all 6 we end up with Mossy Oak Fence because... 1.Todd did a really good job explaining all the process, pros and cons, and answered all put questions at the moment and after that. 2. Their price. I am not going to lie, there was one other cheaper than Mossy, (all other 4 have higher prices) but, Mossy promised 1-3 weeks for the work to be done, they delivered!! 3. They do 3 ft deep for each poll, all the other were 2ft. *WORK DONE... Enrique and the two other guys(can't remember their names) did an outstanding job; beautiful, clean, level, and very professional work. They answered all our questions, gave us suggestions and tips of what what's better, looks better and fit our needs better. They finished all 3 sides with one gate in each side in 1 day...yes ONE DAY!!!! HinesHonits hard to find a one day job as clean and perfect as they did. We are very happy and grateful we pick them.
Poor customer service. I had my fence installed a little over a year ago. The price seemed reasonable, and the men who actually installed it were nice and professional. However, my double door gate was not installed with proper supports, and I have had a recurring issue of one gate door leaning in to the point that it cannot be opened. They keep fixing it by putting it back up the way it was originally done, which does not fix the problem or prevent it from happening again. The most recent time I called about this same issue was mid October. Someone came out, took pictures, and agreed that it did not seem to have proper supports to keep it upright. I was told I would hear from them soon. After hearing nothing for two weeks, I called them. I was informed that because we had recently had a hurricane, I would have to pay to have it fixed. After several more phone calls, they finally agreed to fix my fence. Again, several weeks went by and my fence was not fixed. I called in November, and was told it would be after thanksgiving. I called again several weeks later and was told it would be the week of January 15th. Yesterday was Friday of the promised week. I called several times that afternoon, during their posted office hours. No one was even answering the phone. I went down to the office, and was told it will be next week. I have been dealing with a fence that was installed incorrectly for over a year now. Communication and customer service have been horrible. Save yourself the headache and do not use this company. I will gladly edit my review if they are able to resolve this issue. I only expect what I paid for- a working, functional fence.
I wrote a poor review, only to discover that Mossy Oak used a "loophole" to get the review removed by Google. Look at all the other bad reviews - I wonder how many more have been removed? I posted info about better-priced and more reliable competitors, which is "technically" against Google's policy - that's how they got the review removed. This is a shady company. Shady work, and even shadier customer service. I took off work early, waited at my home for the appraiser to come out, and FINALLY received a phone call an HOUR after he was supposed to show up, only to be told "Uhhh... yea.... I'm going to have to reschedule" No, you're not. I hung up on him, and THEN I read all these other reviews. Typical. I just spent 8500 less than 7 days ago having a new fence installed, and several trees removed. They started when scheduled, finished when scheduled 3 days later, and did an IMPECCABLE job. I can't post the name of the company that did it here, but you can certainly read all my other reviews. My advice? Avoid this company like the plague.
The office asked me to share my thoughts about my experience with this company. I was sold on the grade of wood as well as the warranty. I actually went to their showroom and looked around before I committed to product. I felt very secure that they would be in business for a long time! Great choice!
I called Mossy Oak based on mailers I had received from them to get a second quote on a fence job for my backyard. When I called on a Tuesday, the representative was very friendly and took all my information and made an appointment that was convenient for me for that upcoming Friday. When my appointment time came on Friday, no one showed up, so I called the office just to verify someone was coming, but I got their voicemail. I left a message and waited a little longer. No one. I finally called and left another voicemail to tell them that I couldn't wait any longer and that I needed to leave, but from what I could tell they never showed up, nor did they ever follow up to apologize. Very disappointing.
