Kay Johnston

Dr. Koretsky is brilliant and very thorough. He has a great friendliness about him but he is also professional. Dawn, his receptionist is very friendly and gets things done in a timely manner. Shannon, the nurse I saw today, is kind, gentle and thorough. However, Karen, the scheduler, was a bit dismissive and made sure she stayed at a distance, emotionally and verbally. When I left I had the impression she wanted me gone, like yesterday. When I asked her her name again as I was leaving, she said, "I've written it at the top of the page." She gave no explanations of any instructions and expected me to assimilate it on my own, though she did say to call if I had any questions. She made me feel like she did not want me there. It is because of my interaction with her that I cannot give a 5-star rating.

Very clean, COVID safe facility. There is wheelchair accessiblity. Wait time to see the doctor was 15 minutes (reasonable). The assistant took my vitals, entered the info and waited a short time before Dr. Koretsky came in. The Dr. is a straight talking guy, which I like. He didn't candy coat things and gave me all of the info I needed. I scheduled a follow-up for next year. Overall, a great visit.

The staff is without a doubt completely organized and most pleasant. When it comes to Doctor Koretsky, I haven't the words to describe his magnificence. What he has done for me has been remarkable. He sees to it that my problem is monitored very closely. Talking with him is like talking to a life long friend. He listens to my every word and we work together to make sure my progress does not falter. I wish to commend the entire staff for their tireless effort in helping others. I need you.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Koretsky for 14 years. He is the best gastroenterologist we have ever been to visit. He is prudent and methodical, and he knows his stuff backward and forward. He has helped both my husband and I with some very painful stomach issues. And as a surgeon, he is top-notch. Most of all, he is very kind--the perfect bedside manner. We could not recommend him more highly.

My wife (the patient) and I were on time to a well planned waiting room due to Covid. Our in room PA WAS PROMPT & efficient in asking about conditions and recording my wifes’ vitals. Doc was not on time but made up for it by giving us a thorough breakdown of conditions with a bodily exam. He was very knowledgeable and concerned for my wife’s long suffering problem. He ordered lab work and prescribed an over-the-counter med to try. Wow, that seems to be working! Dr. Koretsky spent about 30 minutes with us. My wife and I were pleased with his abilities.
