Good for kids
I have been training on and off with Missy since I was 5 years old. I recently sent my horse to her for training and the difference they were able to make in 2 months was unbelievable. My daughter and I just got back into showing the bigger circuit and I wanted her to get the proper training. There is no doubt that Missy was the right choice. She takes her time and makes things fun for the kids while keeping safety first. Missy has been like a second mom to me for most of my life, as I’m sure most of kids that have trained with her will feel the same way. I love her, my daughter loves her and my horse loves her! Can’t wait to get him back in training for the upcoming show season!

Saddle Lake Equestrian Center is truly one of the most beautiful barns we have come across and it’s run by kind and talented trainers. My 20 year-old daughter and I arrived for a brief tour and after spending 14 years immersed in the horse world we were blown away. The setting is gorgeous. The horses are so well kept and loved and the beautiful ponies were everywhere. Missy Jo was friendly, so informative but most importantly welcoming. Missy was amazing today. Showed my kids around the complex and was very patient and kind. Such a great experience for my daughter's birthday. I would recommend this equestrian center to anyone willing to learn about horses and ponies.
I took classes here couple of years ago and was not happy. I was taking weekend classes and my instructor changed every week. They did not know what I learned last week so I didn't get consistent training and eventually switched to a provider that works for herself.
A fantastic facility! Missy Jo and the entire staff take what they do very seriously. They are extremely knowledgeable in all levels of horsemanship. Great training, staff and horses.
