Great store, way better prices then online bullion dealers like JM bullion or silver gold bull. They have a good selection of bullion bars and coin. Store owner was very helpful when it came time to buy. I plan on becoming a repeat customer.

Don't take your coins to this shop unless they are gold or silver. This shop don't care about anything else. I took a some quarters I found that were rare or had errors. Guy took all of 5 second look at the whole lot and told me to spend em. Had to point out a quarter to him that he said he can order for 4 and sell for around 8. Well that's a lot more than 25 cents. So worth collecting. If I had that one valuable coin that he told me to spend, then what else do I have of value that he automatically dismissed without even examining the coins? He was nice and kinda helpful. That's why I gave 2 stars. But if you have regular coins, find another shop or professional to look at them.

John is always friendly, honest and to the point. He maintains a well organized storefront with ample supply. Whether you have 25 to invest or 25k, he is the man to speak with. John is willing to teach those who are new to bullion, helping them to understand what they are purchasing. Some of these reviews are sobbing about cashing in spot silver coins. This man is a bullion dealer, not a pawn shop... However he may be able to point you in the right direction if you do have rare coins or unique pieces. I appreciate having done business with Silver Bay and look forward to future purchases and exchanges with them.

Great experience selling a small family holding of gold and silver bullion. John taught me something about coins and bullion, gave what seemed to me like a very fair price (it was about 90% of the published market value for that day, which is what I was hoping for) , was friendly and transparent, and had me out of there in no time with a check and a problem solved. I’ll be back whenever I need help with coins or investment metals.
