Customer service was nothing but helpful in every regard. They worked out a plan with me to take care of the installation of the tank, the leak test and annual rental. Plus setting up the billing so that usage was in the tenants name. This was in huge contrast to the experience I had with Amerigas. Their records were a disaster, including no record of a leak test which is required by law, no record of having had a new tenant turn off the service 2 days after having paid for the turn on, and putting the payment for gas back in my name with the bill going to the property and not my address. There was also no call to me to verify the change. Getting through to them was to say the least a marathon and their phone system fidelity is appalling.

Customer service is a big part of a business. Here they have forgotten about the customer. We have called left messages and called again. Many promises received to have call backs from the proper parties but the return calls for updates on our service needs never happened. The lack of empty promises is wearing thin. Just call and keep us posted on progress of the work to get us up and running. K Ballentine Fournier
Marie was absolutely delightful and helped me set up my new account for propane delivery. If she is any example of the company's operation it will be a long and enjoyable relationship. Can't wait for my first delivery! UPDATE: Having spoken with what seems like everyone in the Suburban Propane office in the process of becoming a new customer, I have to say that I am impressed with the positive and friendly manner I encountered on virtually every call in every step. A very nice group of ladies for sure. Equally, scheduling my first delivery was quick and easy...and the delivery date was timely, considering we are entering hurricane season here in Florida. So far, I can't say enough good things about the company.

After three attempts, I still can not get a salesman to contact me. I call, I leave my info with the receptionist and Daniel the salesman should be calling me.... attempt #3 I've given up. Guess the propane business is booming and our money isnt good enough for them.
