My child attended this facility for 2 1/2 years . She was labeled as severe and billed that way but not cared for that way . I have been told she would need to possibly be institutionalized and medicated and a therapist asked me how long I would keep her for . We were left without in clinic services and pushed out for 7 months . It’s a business and only if your child looks good on their charts ... look at other options .

MALPRACTICE. Do not go. The doctorates don't supervise their students. I was given no information about my condition. I was also not informed of the best practices for treating my condition, which the Scott Center does not follow and cannot provide. After attending, my condition is 100x worse because of how they handled the diagnosis. I find it odd that there's no \cut off\ for mental illnesses that need special treatment. Some mental illnesses can't, or shouldn't be, treated by students. And patients should be made aware of that. That I learned this on my own was truly appalling and, honestly, bizarre. I emailed the supervising doctorate about this dangerous oversight and received no response. They really don't care at all for their clients.

there are better centers for autism. high turn over of staff. . main focus is on billing and growing as an institution instead of client care. when desperate parents ask to keep one therapist for help with their kids, their main doctor says \ we have a waiting list we dont need you\ so many clients left.

This place is great! Their testing is top notch and they have all types of therapy available. Just beware of the wait list. It can range anywhere from 5 months to a year to either get evaluated or receive therapy.
