Pay 20 to get into sevens and they have a 15 minute wait for mens toilets. Jed have much better facilities where 12 men can urinate at once.

Annual Event is the Melrose Rugby Sevens. Brilliant fun with back to back rugby all day. Fabulous setting. Take warm clothes and don't rely on food available. Food is mainly burgers, sausages and pasta. It's a great day out. From Edinburgh take stunning borders railway to Tweedsmuir and walk 30 mons to the rugby ground in centre of town. Some good restaurants around Melrose too. ..... and it's good for hillwalking!
