My sisters and I recently employed Melvin and Melvin to handle an Estate closing. Right from the beginning something didn't seem right. On our first meeting and subsequent meetings I was repetitively told by the attorney that we could fire him at anytime throughout the process. This was reinforced numerous times which seemed strange to me. NOW I KNOW THE SCAM THEY'RE PUSHING. They dragged their feet for months with no progress made at all, sending us to banks without proper requisitions met, then blaming it on the banks for their own mistakes and ill advising. After very politely confronting them about their horrible service and professionalism, they decided to \close my file\ and proceed no further with the estate closing, making all 10,000 of \legal advise\ due to them for doing absolutely nothing. Currently seeking to file litigation against them for breach of contract and gross negligence. HORRIBLE SCAM OF A FIRM.
