Quaint New England World War One Memorial Park. Across from Federal Court Building. Great place for outside lunch on benches. In PM some small groups of skate boarders.

This is such a beautiful park to walk through if you take your time and read the meaning of each monument. The war memorials in particular. The names of those who served from Providence are either cut into every brick surrounding the monument while other are cut into the surrounding walls. The sculpture with all the guns rolled into it is what made me go there while visiting my son. I enjoyed looking at all the different hand guns and wondering what this person was thinking. I love it. A must see when you're in Providence and in the park. There's a lot of places to sit and some ares are warm and sunny while others are in the shade. The marble floor area is one of my favorite ever to go places. It speaks a lot sitting there at the work and the people being remembered - heroes!

This park is a treasure. The park svc people keep it up so beautifully & responsibly & there is interesting info at the historic but progressive house. Paths, benches, trees - relax and/or enjoy the panels about the area's history.

A beautiful a d inspiring gem in downtown Rhody. Tons of visual satisfaction to accompany a daytime stroll. Packed with monument and murals, this location has the perfect blend of a small metropolis and an eclectic renaissance. The diversity of the people, is reminiscent of Times Square without the lights and rush. The Universities in the area, provide a variety of people from all over the world. You'll be able to spend hours, just walking. Or, you can take advantage of the bicycles provided to the public, at a small cost. Would have given it a 5 star rating, if it wasn't for the traffic congestion and impatient drivers.
