Beware! Your truck may show up short! I have ordered concrete many time before from tjis company since my move back to Memphis 2.5 years ago. This time I decided to tear out and repour the driveway at one of my rental properties 37 long X 11.4 wide. I measured the drive my contractor measured the driveway. I ordered 5.5 yds. of 3500 regular rock at a 4" slump. Long story short when truck showed up we poured and came up short. I couldn't belive that we were that short. I measured the area that still needed concrete and it equalled on yard of concrete. Called dispatch they said the batch as far as the weights looked good and that the load was 5.5yrds. I have dispatch the measurements and he came up with the same number! 5.5yrds. So why am I one whole yrd short? Don't know he says. I asked for sales representative to come out and to check for himself because at this point I have a driveway thats setting up and I'm one yard from being finished. I asked dispatch to send another yard and when the salesperson got there we would work the numbers out. So the extra one yrd. Showed up and we got it on the ground with 2 shovels over. A hour after the second truck left I called again for the saleperson. The dispatch "a lady at this point" said the the salesman had been there and that no one was there. I said mame I stand in front of the address I gave you and have been here since 7:00am this morning. Ok so sale guy shows up and measured the area and he comes up with 5.5yrds. I ask am I going to jave to pay 305.90 for the extra yrd. that you guys didn't send me? He said that there was not much he could do. This is way business fail! If they would check my record they would see how much concrete I have order from this company. Over 100 yrds ytd. You just lost not just one customer but many. All over one yrd. of concrete.
