Ongoing bad experiences is all the time. The office staff is terrible, they purposefully do not answer the phone and send calls to an extension that doesn't exist, but they quick to call you. The dean is not one to handle problems the right way, he has no patience and doesn't listen to kids who are not his favorites and needs to be fired. The teacher staff ignores kids when they try to tell them when other kids constantly pick at them but then they want to play innocent when those kids parents come up there to confront them about these issues. It's only maybe a handful of teachers that are acceptable. The leading staff just are not fit to be leads and the kids have no home training. Innocent kids will lose all hope of actual real help from any adult learning staff or office staff. They just concerned about getting a check and really could give a damn about those kids at that school. If there was a fourth of a rating star, that school doesn't deserve that.

I visited here in September of 2011. The neighbourhood is run down beyond words. I did my photos and got the hell out of there and this is during the daytime when one should feel safe. I will however go back on my next trip which is in June of 2018 for my photos. The houses across the street should be taken down.

Hume's has new principal over there suspending children that brush up against him during busy hall traffic. He's trying to turn the place into a boarding school. He threatened to have my child detained and said he was going to press charges. Im beyond pissed. He tries to intimidate people. This was my first run in with this man and it was AWFUL. My son sat in iss because the principal needed an official apology and wouldn't accept it without his mother present. Ridiculous!!!

I cannot begin to describe the disappointment and frustration I have received from the administrative staff at this school. They are unprofessional, do not return calls, screen calls so that I have to call from different numbers or they will know it is me. I have been trying to get information regarding my daughter's transcript for months now and all I get is the run around. I will never subject my child to another charter school and definitely will not recommend anyone to send their child to Humes Preparatory. And as for scoring, I only picked one star because Google required you to do so, in reality it is a ZERO.
