What a terribly run government beurcracy. Like most publicly run business, it fails! They should let the private sector run it. I own multiple units in Memphis. Even though I have an excellent credit score they still require a security 200 deposit on additional accounts. I tried to grant access to my management company after notarizing their outdated method. I guess they haven't heard of docusign or maybe a phone authorization? I then sent them my deed of ownership to grant permission to my management company which wasn't accepted. After going through the hassle of the outdated notarized paper work, they then lost the paperwork.

The lady was so sweet and very helpful. Thanks so much.
Worst experience ever. Power outage all over downtown for a full day now, and it looks like the ‘crew’ working on it decided they had tried enough and went home. Really terrible service! Makes me want to move someplace else.
I would never move to Memphis because of this utility company. I mean how fair is it to own power, light and gas all under one company AND no other choice in the city.....oh, and yes, they have to worst customer service. It's like everyone there has a power struggle. Not sure if that is how Memphis or just this company. I own rentals there and have been dealing with them on a few houses. HORRIBLE.
